Our goal is to create safer drivers in our local communities. In order to facilitate that goal, we use services like our website, online driver’s education program, behind-the-wheel training, and an app to practice the test questions. Outlined in this notice are the information we collect, how we use that information, and your options for how we keep that data.

This information is collected upon signing up for Driver’s Education or Behind-the-Wheel lessons. In order to create the account, you must consent to the collection of this information.
Local Driving School uses the information provided to ensure its customers receive quality support. We send account notifications of upcoming appointments or account balance updates. The instructor can use the phone number to contact you to coordinate pickup or drop-off locations. Upon completion of the lesson, we ask for surveys on your experience with the instructor. Occasionally, we may send marketing texts for upcoming discounts or sales. If you do not wish to receive these messages any longer, you can reply stop to opt out.
Local Driving School uses the account address as the main pickup and drop-off point unless otherwise stated on the appointment. We may send mail with certificates of completion for Driver’s Ed or Behind-the-Wheel. If the mailing address is different, you may request it to be sent to a different address by speaking to our office staff.
Just as with texting, Local Driving School uses email to keep you up to date on your account. We send login information and appointment reminders to the emails on file. Upon completion of the lesson, you will receive the lesson evaluation. Occasionally, we may send marketing promotions to the email on file. To opt out of marketing, please go through the unsubscribe process at the bottom of the email. To opt out of all email correspondence please contact the office staff.
Local Driving School does not share or sell your data to 3rd parties. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Upon 1 year of the account creation, the account is deactivated and you will no longer receive any messages from Local Driving School unless an extension is applied or if the same information is used in a new family member’s account.
